Port expansion

Port expansion

We offer port expansion works

We are often involved in projects to expand Danish ports. These cover greater port capacity, expansion of port areas, new wharfs, new piers and deeper draught. On this type of project we often work as a subcontractor to the main contractor in charge of the port expansion. We can also work as part of a consortium, where we perform all the underwater operations while another company builds wharfs and pile sheet walls.

Old piers can be extended – or we can break them up so that the materials can be re-used in the new piers. We can also deepen the harbour and the shipping lane to accommodate the large ships that will be entering the harbour.
