Ploughing (Leveling of seabed)

Leveling is primarily performed after dredging to smooth out peaks on the seabed. Leveling can also be employed when dredging is not possible or permitted, allowing the seabed to be leveled without the need for excavation.

Several of our vessels are equipped to operate with a plow. For smaller peaks, a plow is attached to the excavator on our dredgers; for larger areas or significant volumes of material, a plow is mounted on one of our two Multicat vessels to drag the material away.

All vessels operating with a plow are equipped with a PDS dredging system, ensuring leveling is carried out at the correct elevation and position.
